 Branch Manager

Job Description

  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead its team in achieving exceptional growth and operational excellence.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the branch to achieve growth through client acquisition, quality disbursement, and Portfolio At Risk (PAR) reduction.
  • Implement proactive strategies for operational self-sufficiency and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Evaluate and make strategic decisions on branch activities, staffing, market-driven products, and lending methodology.
  • Ensure compliance with current risk management and audit standards.
  • Demonstrate commitment, dependability, and respect for team members, guiding them towards relationship-based success with clients.
  • Support adherence to internal policies, procedures, and practices for overall branch soundness.
  • Advise management on strategies for rapid branch growth and collaborate with the team.
  • Efficiently manage all resources under your care for smooth branch operations.
  • Develop, execute, and manage business strategies considering market opportunities, capabilities, and risk appetite.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of a First Degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of proven work experience with at least 2 years in managerial capacity preferably in Microfinance or Commercial Banking.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
  • Must reside in Kaduna
  • High proficiency in Hausa Language
  • Proficiency in banking software will be an added advantage.
